MRG Realtime - Red Hat Enterprise MRG Realtime
Welcome to the official Red Hat site for supplementary technical realtime productization information. This site is intended for:
- Customers and partners participating in development and beta testing activities.
- Customers looking for the most up to date deployment information.

Red Hat's realtime implementation strategy is consistent with our general operating practices - namely to cooperatively work with the mainline upstream Linux kernel community. As such, the main wiki for the upstream development activities is here: Upstream realtime development wiki
The following is a presentation on the internals of the realtime kernel implementation and performance results. It was presented by Steven Rostedt (a member of RH's development team) and Darren Hart of IBM - at the Ottowa Linux Symposium in 2007: https://ols2006.108.redhat.com/2007/Reprints/rostedt-Reprint.pdf
Note: there may be some historical artifacts under this site referring to RHEL-RT. That was the interim project name until the marketeers got there hands on things.
